Read and Rise

Elevating Literacy, One Page at a Time
At Vision Books4All, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to unlock their potential through literacy. Our Read and Rise Program is designed to cultivate a lifelong love for reading, improve literacy skills, and empower students and communities to rise through the power of books.
School-Based Literacy Advancement: GSS Rigasa Central

As part of our commitment to strengthening school literacy environments, Vision Books4All proudly:
Established a Functional Library at Government Secondary School (GSS) Rigasa Central, providing students access to hundreds of age-appropriate and diverse books.
Launched a Vibrant Reading Club within the school, encouraging students to engage with stories, share ideas, and develop critical thinking skills in a safe, nurturing space.
Organized a School-Wide Writing Competition, giving students a platform to express their creativity, build confidence, and hone their writing skills. Winners were awarded with book prizes and recognition.
This initiative has sparked a renewed excitement for reading and writing among students and teachers alike, creating ripple effects of learning across the school.

Community Impact: Libraries in Rigasa and Unguwan Muazu

Beyond schools, we extended our literacy efforts to the heart of the communities. In partnership with Rambling Thoughts Book Club, Vision Books4All has:
Established a Community Library in Rigasa – A welcoming space where children and young adults can explore books, attend read-aloud sessions, and join literacy-themed activities.
Set Up a Second Community Library in Unguwan Muazu, creating inclusive access to books and learning for underserved populations.
These community libraries are more than shelves of books – they are safe spaces for knowledge-sharing, imagination, and transformation.
Why Read and Rise?
