Who we are
Vision Books4All is a registered non-profit education initiative cofounded by Anas Abubakar and Odessa Ng, dedicated to advancing Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 4); Quality Education. We are committed to ensuring inclusive and equitable access to quality education that levels the playing field and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, particularly focusing on underprivileged children communities and groups in Nigeria.

what we do

Enhance Literacy, Numeracy and Hygiene Awareness
Our programs focus on improving literacy and numeracy skills while also educating children about personal hygiene, fostering a holistic approach to learning that supports the targets of SDG 4.

Promote Access to Quality Education
We are committed to providing every child, regardless of their socio-economic background, with access to quality education, aligning with SDG 4's aim to ensure inclusive and equitable education for all.

Provide Learning Materials and School Supplies
We supply less privileged children with the necessary learning materials and school supplies, we help ensure they have the tools needed to succeed, directly contributing to the targets of SDG 4.

Support National Effort to Reduce Out-of-School Children
Through free school enrollment initiatives, we actively contribute to national efforts aimed at decreasing the population of out-of-school children, supporting SDG 4's goal to eliminate disparities in education.

Raise Awareness on the Importance of Education
We engage with communities to promote the value of education, encouraging families and localities to prioritize and support educational endeavors, in line with SDG 4's emphasis on the importance of education in sustainable development.

Foster the Reading Culture
By promoting a love for reading among school students, we aim to cultivate lifelong learners and thinkers, reinforcing SDG 4's commitment to lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Orphaned by Tradition
One of the most critical barriers preventing Almajiri children from attending formal schools to obtain education is the absence of guardians who will take responsibility for their welfare. In many cases, Almajiri children are sent away by impoverished families who hope that Islamic scholars (Mallams) will provide for their education and sustenance. However, the reality is often starkly different. The Mallams, themselves frequently struggling with limited resources, cannot adequately provide for the children’s basic needs. As a result, these young boys are forced to beg for food and money, wandering the streets instead of sitting in classrooms
